THE TRUTH ABOUT MEN REVEALED: MEN MAK U STOOPID!

I cant help but notice how the MALE market has been making money of the insercurity of women… you know making books “he just not that into you”, “act like a lady think like a man…” movies and ish… and im thinking like wait a minute wtf is going on!!!! Why has it gotten to the point that women need to have books just to be in relationships? That’s the corniest bull I have ever seen! This is absolutely ridiculous… I mean we all know that this is a mans world, and its not secret that men like to blame all the issues on women… and here again we see how men like to make WOMEN seem like were the ones who need help… (disclaimer: in no way is this a MALE BASHING blog) but im going to have to get in and bust the male ego for a second, and I am more willing to take all male hate mail from my penis-carrying counterparts and their boycotts…. But I got to look out for my sisters because the way things are going women are going to continue to be hurt and manipulated by selfish stupid men… so I cant let that happen. My homegirl Kelly and I have gone through much insight, and we have seen where we have went wrong as women and where we have learned how dangerous men can be! First off ladies, don’t take male advice from a comedian, a drunk, a former playboy, or a gay guy… don’t you see they are capitalizing your mind to make you seem inferior to men!!! BULL CORN… so let me enlighten …

10 STUPID THINGS YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT MEN:

1. MEN ARE WAY MORE COMPLICATED THEN WOMEN, read it, sink it in and swallow it… yes ladies this is true! Unlike males, we say what we mean, when we say we don’t like you, we really don’t, when we say we like you DOESN’T MEAN WE WANT TO BE WITH YOU, when we say were just friends…WE LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY… most women (and I DID SAY MOST NOT ALL) don’t come with strings attached. Men say one thing and mean another… they also like to think that were supposed to read their actions as a form of caring for us… like on some actions speak louder than word type bull… so if your acting like an asshole, guess what that’s what you are!
2. MEN ARE NOT GOOD ABOUT BEING SNEAKY, why they hell do you think when they cheat they get caught, yeah women cheat too, but we know how to clean up, yall will date different girls and do the same thing with all of them! Like yall just don’t get it… yall leave paper trails everywhere!
3. MEN like to play the BLAME GAME… ladies EVERYTHING IS OUR FAULT, from their bad day, to the ending of a relationship, to their toothache, it will always be our fault… Men like to make you think it is all your fault for things going wrong (when 99.9% of the time, its their fault) so when you are faced with their situation, don’t even respond….walk away or just tell them they are right and laugh in their face, then walk away!
4. Men have TOO MUCH PRIDE! So don’t expect him to apologize first, and if he does he is just trying to bang… they also wont call you when their wrong cause pride wont let them do it.
5. MEN DON’T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THEIR EMOTIONS… so when your try to get serious with them, they just shut down, so your better off waiting for them to come out of their shell before you can even be comfortable.
6. NOT ALL MEN WANT A STRONG WOMAN, in fact if you ever wonder why all the bimbos and dingbats get all the guys, well they don’t pose as a challenge, and men sometimes don’t want anyone who is going to be on their level, which that is usually the first sign of an INSECURE MAN
7. MEN ARE MORE INSECURE THAN US!!! Hell yeah, they just show it in different ways, if you ever find yourself in a situation where he has his homeboys flirting with you to see how you would respond you more than likely dealing with an insecure person….run far far far far away.
8. MEN WITH ADDITCTIONS ARE DANGEROUS! Stay away from drug addicts, alcoholics, sex addicts, and emotionally damanged people, they will always try to make you seem crazy, but in actuality these kind of men are dangerous, and will make you go crazy, and if you want to keep your sanity, these loons will steal that away… don’t let their issues swallow you up! They never know what they are talking about and half the time they are probably drunk or too stupid high to even realize what they are saying so therefore THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!
9. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE A MAN… ladies don’t try to change a man… if they aint trying to change themselves your just going to end up hurt
10. Love yourself and your WORTH to not fall for the BULLSHIT! Men think if they tell you what you want to hear they get what they want, and most of the time they do, then they ditch you like a bad habit, they also don’t think… you know you got a real man when he cares about you enough to not have to lie to you, or tell you bs… DON’T LET THEM LEAVE YOU IN THE GRAY!!!!

The golden rule (which isn’t treat people the way you want to be treated, cause men certainly DO NOT FOLLOW THAT RULE, they barely can handle what they dish out…) the rule is…MEN AND WOMEN LOVE DIFFERENTLY…. Men don’t love like we do, they don’t see things the way we do (they actually don’t come to their senses till their 40, then they see what your talking about all along.) when a man acts stupid, let him be stupid on his own, he just want you to point it out first so he can say that you’re the one tripping…don’t give them that satisfaction…

Don’t waste your money on those bs books… just be ten steps ahead of the game…

Style Profile: Kelly KING is T.G.I.F…. That Girl Is Fresh…

Okay so everyone thinks they have the gift of Gab, every one thinks that they can convince others that what they have to offer is the best product out there… but rarely do you meet someone who is under 5’4, stylish to death, and is PR Giant in her own right!!
Miss Kelly King, or I call Kelly Kels, is rocking the Houston (and national scene) with her ultimate PR TACTICS… of course being a fly fashionista, she is often underestimated, but don’t let this cholcate small bite fool you… her bite is mean, her game is tough, and she is the only damn person I know who can find the best knick knack bangles in the world… I mean that’s super fly when you can rock handcuff earrings that no one has even thought of yet! Kelly reminds us of a Cadbury carmello choclate bar, with a glass of Australian chardonnay, amber musk, with lilac orchids floating in Perrier

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.... now HEAR THIS!

They say actions speak louder than words, and this a principle that we have to follow on daily live… as if to say that despite what you are saying, what you are doing should more of an effect.
I don’t know if I agree with this, because a lot of times peoples actions don’t even line up with their words, and then the words they use to back it up are just as messed up with their actions. My favorite is when someone’s actions seem confusing, and they don’t say anything... what the eff is that? Why don’t you line up with your saying and doing at the same time, and we can alleviate the confusion right here and right now…

Maybe I’m just ranting… possibly slightly bitter, but I have found that I am becoming intolerable to bull shit on a daily basis, in fact its so bad, I think I develop constipation from the “sickness” of bull shit, so PLEASE don’t pass it over this way…

Another thought… I was driving this morning and thinking about past people in my life for a brief moment, and I started contemplating on how people that have come across your life can partly shape your character. Experiences we have had in the past can either make us better and bitter, and what’s worse ( or better depending on how your looking at it.) these “individuals” may no longer be in your life, and you may not even remember them later on, BUT their mark remains. If you get done bad by person, and it changes your views on love, eventually you wont have hope to love anymore especially if you encounter the same “heartache” with other people… therefore everyone leaves a mark…If you meet someone that teaches you how to believe in yourself, you may not experience that benefit again, but that person leaves a mark, and your believe in yourself forever… just the fact that what I may do to someone can either make them a better or worse person is a responsibility I need accept with my dealings with people. I would hate to treat someone bad, because they didn’t deserve it and then later on in life they end up bitter or hardened because of me being one of the many experiences that they had to face in life… idk… I guess my actions will always be deeper than words, cause like words, you cant take your actions back…. Food for thought
Peace

The Ugly: I actually got annoyed with one of the performers… she was trying to hard… note to self… ignore performances where the artist is too high to be even understood.

The Good: that its all good in the Jenius hood….

From DUSK TILL DAWN: Style Profile of Dawn Richard Former Danity Kane

Sitting across from us at the Sheridan Hotel, hails a slim figured vixen, head to toe accessorized, with killer heels enough to stop even the busiest person in their tracks… her smile is bright, her vibe is on point… she doesn’t shake hands, she gives hugs… those kind of hugs that let you know “I’m the real deal”… We love her cause she keeps it real, we love her cause she really can sing, and we really love her, cause she has a style all her own…
She sits with me and gives me the answers to my questions, alive and sweet, yet from and real… Of course I was interviewing dawn for my upcoming K2 magazine, but I couldn’t help but blog about her style…. Yeah we all know we see celebrities on TV. And we have these misconceptions about their appearance, attitudes, and overall personas…

I have to admit, I didn’t have any preconceived notions about Miss Richard… All I knew was that my little cousins were like in love with her, and I work out to the Danity Kane Single “Bad Girl”… other than that, I knew that I was interviewing a cool chic from Diddy’s former girl group Danity Kane. We all know that people are placed in Drama, and of course Dawn has a little drama circulating with the recent split of the girl group, on top of that. Her personal life is being infiltrated with her continuous boyfriend “Que” from Bad Boys Day 26… (Whom she admits her an her boo are having to connect on the Internet just to stay connected…so much for cyber sex…)
But on the real I’m more concerned with her fashion sense… I probably should more into tabloids and celebrities like I should, but I couldn’t help but notice her bad ass necklaces, I was digging the charmed gold entourage pieces, and her bauble rings Dawn let me know that the “reinvention” has already taken place, as she rocks a new short cropped due… she was definitely giving me garb with the 1920 cut…. But sista was on point and her declaration for fashion elitist like Agnes Dane and Zoë Kravitz… Hopefully soon she will be rocking Some KAIMA COUTURE PIECES BY KARYN JENIUS…. So holler at your girl…

Look out for Dawns New Project Dirty Money…

Dawn style reminds me of tarte sugar scrub lip balm, in torn denim, bvalgari bangles, knuckle rings, and 1920 flappers smoking those cigarettes with the black sticks… how chic.

Lost In Translation: Coultrain... the Adventures of Seymour Liberty

they say Missouri is the "Show Me" state... show me some of this, show me some of that... but i have to commend the state from the dirty dirty, for showing me and my ears a real man... Yes, my friends indeed sculpted to perfect pitched perfection is the sounds of Seymour Liberty, the soul-filled liberado inflicting truth with his tantilizing lyrics... Im in love.

It starts off with the infections ballad "lillies", warming up with a little "Screw" and slowing it down with his song "Lost in Translation..." I fell in love with Mr. Liberty with the song "Screw", the lyrics breaking down the ambivelent question us women have had to face... "do you wanna make love, or screw?"... It reminded me of a thought i had a while ago, when pondering why guys always felt the need to lie to women about just wanting to sleep with them. Why do guys have to spit game to get in your drawls? a woman know whether she is going to sleep with you after 30 seconds of talking, so all that "vocal manuipulation" is so unnecessary. :)

Seymour Liberty, Hailing from St. Louis, has been making his staple through out the globe, infesting his ambient ballads upon the sound ears. Its been a long time since “feel good music” has circulated the air and Internet waves…. He is definitely an artist to look out for in 09…

Seymour Liberty reminds me of a late night rendezvous in a corner at an upscale lounge in Philadelphia, sipping on cask and crème, while wearing Givenchy Hot Couture Perfume, eating raspberries and spiced almonds served on chocolate mousse cake with Jamaican rum drizzle, while receiving sweet forehead kisses… yeah his music is something like that… :)

Check him out!!
